Hi all, I thought it would be a good idea to do a weekly rewatch (technically starting yesterday Sunday as I’m UK time), and watch one episode of season 1 a week which should lead us nicely up to the new season on 16th June.

I’m probably alone in this one but If I was going to do a rewatch I think I might jump in during episode five or something. That’s not to say there’s not some good stuff in the early episodes, but I feel like there’s also a lot of set up that I’m not sure I’d like to sit through again.
We watched episode one and honestly it was great to return to Westeros. While I found there to be a few cringey lines here and there, the episode set everything up nicely and the ending with Viserys and Rhaenyra was awesome. Really sets up the rest of the season nicely. Looking forward to next week already. I would highly recommend starting from the beginning!
