There are many overlaps between the tf2 and gmod community (such as tf2 related gmod videos), and I think it is relevant enough for me to post it here, especially considering Team Fabolous 2 has parts that was filmed on a mario kart map and that map might get taken down. Remember to archive these stuff that might taken down, they aren’t winning this. Fuck Nintendo. I regret buying ToTK from this dumpster fire of a company last year.

Only steam workshop is getting wiped, other sites like gamebanana, nexus will not be affected and fortunately, people are already reuploading to these sites and internet archive. Tbh i feel like nintendo is abusing copyright protect so much that it is actively hindering creativity, which was supposed to be the one thing copyright protects. They are just using it because they can and they hate their customers or something smh
As much as I don’t like the way Nintendo acts, they do have the copyright on characters and whatever else… how is it actively hindering creativity? You are free to create a mimkendo with totally awesome Italian man. You can’t use Mario or Nintendo stuff… make your own? Why is that such a big deal?
sorry, my comment isn’t phrased very well. What I’m trying to say is that they shouldn’t be that harsh on their fans, and even if they technically have the copyright, they should still have some sort of fair use policy for their fans so they can easily make fan content without having to worry about trouble. However, I am aware that this subject is a very debatable subject and I’m no lawyer and I’m also slightly inclined towards fan content, so take my words with a grain of salt.
They are doing a great job of pissing off their fans. Bold move, Cotton.
