Which days do you do laundry, grocery shop, cleaning, other life necessities? Any good planners or LPT YouTube channels for a less chaotic life?

I don’t know your life situation OP, but my wife and I have found it very helpful to designate one night of the week as our “weekly meeting.” After the kids go to bed, we spend some time together, catching up on the previous week and talking about next week. We also meal plan and make a grocery list. And both of us usually have a few things written down that we want to discuss, like upcoming trips, major expenses, etc.

It’s really nice to have Thursday nights as a time set aside just for the two of us to focus on each other and all the little things you forget about during the week. YMMV, of course.

Monday thru Friday, work from home. Go out to dinner 3-4 times week when my wife isn’t working, eat at home when she is. Thursday we go to a Mongolian restaurant every week (it’s so good). Friday night through Sunday is either projects (cars or house stuff), events (car shows or autocross), or just lazing around, gaming, etc. Monday we do our grocery shopping.

Seems simple but it works, and I’m always trying to do something productive. I don’t watch TV or laze around that much.

Monday: exercise, work from home, do stuff with the kids, bring kids to bed, do some schoolwork or watch series.

Tuesday: exercise, work from home, wife teaches at night and bring the kids to bed.

Wednesday: work from the office, a hour and a half communite (back and forth) so i bring a good book. Currently reading American Gods. When I come home I do some homework or and watch a show.

Thursday: exercise, work from home, wife has dog school after dinner.

Friday: work from the office, usually some drinks after.

Saturday: usually some gardenwork or otherwise some work outside. Kids go to sports and stuff.

Sunday: every other sunday I drive a truck to deliver goods on a regular route. I’m working on my bachelor, so the other sundays are usually family visits and studies. Sunday mornings are for folding the laundry while I listen to my regular radio show.

Every morning I do the dishes after I brought the kids to school and every other day I run the washing machine. My wife does the groceries, which is every other day, sometimes more and she picks the kids up from school.

So my life is pretty busy but boring, just the way I like it.

M, T, Th, F: work from home, have lunch with my husband (if work schedule allows), play with kids when they get home from school

W: work from home, have lunch with my husband (if work schedule allows), badger kids to do music therapy, play with kids

Sa: business meeting with my dad, play with kids, nap, grocery shopping

Su: play with kids, nap, play with kids

I’m in charge of all adhoc things outside of the house and financial. Husband is a stay at home parent and does all the home stuff.
