I’m cool with it, provided you’re opposed to use of state force to establish socialism. For example, voluntary unions, co-ops, or communes, those are all cool. I define libertarianism with the Non-Aggression Principle, so if you agree with that or something similar, you’re in the right place.

If we get big enough to split up into subgroups, we can link those groups in the sidebar.

Voluntary guilds and cooperatives are my jam. As soon as the state steps in it all goes to shit.

I think those are great too.

I consider myself center or a little left of center on the libertarian spectrum. I think capitalism is the way, but I’m okay with groups doing something different, provided it’s all voluntary. I believe in a social safety net, but that it should be as unintrusive as possible (e.g. Negative Income Tax), and I struggle with how it should be funded (for now, I propose it replace worse options).

I’m also happy with ancaps hanging out here. As long as you’re respectful and use the non-aggression principle to guide your decisions, we’re good.

What if your interpretation of the logical implication of private property rights is different? For example, one could take the view that tenet behind private property of getting the positive and negative fruits of your labor implies that firms must be worker coops. In this view, capitalism is ruled out by libertarian legal theory’s prohibition on contracts that alienate responsibility for the results of one’s actions.

What about geolibertarians? @libertarian

Sure, why not!

I don’t see private property as essential for libertarianism, only a foundation in the Non-Aggression Principle. As long as you can defend it in the context of non-aggression, it fits.
