You mean, left reddit when shit hit the fan?

I’m one of them. It’s going great here. Was just pointed to a new community for Lemmy addons that looks super helpful: !plugins@sh.itjust.works

I’m never going back. There’s good interactions and engagement, and the content is growing every day.

I left reddit before the app stuff. Tildes for a while, Mastodon, and then Lemmy.

I remember some of your posts, this may be relevant for you.

Haven’t seen it done. Just the ! for community and @ for user.

I also move from Reddit then to Tildes now to Lemmy.

Tildes is just another Reddit with a dictator for life similar to Spez.

We only need a relatively small number of steady quality contributors to make it work. Adding more members will just degrade the signal/noise ratio.

This is the place for discussing the potential collapse of modern civilization and the environment.

Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.
