So, just spun up my own instance using the ansible method on debian 12, to see how this federated system works.

It worked flawlessly (after some trouble with installing docker through ansible on debian). My instance federates, and I can log in without a problem with the browsers on my computer. Edit: I’m on UI: v0.17.3 BE: 0.17.3.

But when I try to log in on my iPhone—firefox, safari, chrome (all webkit)—the login button just spins and I am never logged on.

It’s weird because I can log in to lemmy.ml with my phone, but not to my new instance.

I have checked ngnix logs, but can’t see anything obvious. I changed my password to something without weird characters.

Any tips on what to have a look at next?
