There is actually very little evidence as of now, that blue light emitted by screens actually causes any significant long time damage.
Also most modern phones have this built in.
As someone who worked nightshift for 18 years I really think it does at least help sleep wise. I blocked Blue light a few hours before I want to sleep and when waking Iβd use a sad/sun light when waking up.
I donβt do it now but Iβm convinced thatβs one of the reasons I managed it for so long.
Basically Iβm saying blue light wakes you up and helps set your body clock but avoiding blue light for a while helps you sleep. I was never aware of any claims blue light is unhealthy but I guess it makes sense as you could argue the sun itself is bad for you.
Yes and that behavior is actually pretty well researched. There is a specific band which will result in the brain not getting into βsleep modeβ sloppy said.
But there is no scientific proof that it is damaging to your eyes or harming your health in any other way.
Yeah this articles the first Iβve heard myself of blue light being unhealthy. Iβve always fancied some glasses that block it like gunnar glasses or something if nothing else itβs helped me justify that purchaseβ¦
And yeah to me itβs pretty set in stone blue light wakes you up.
@ShortN0te yeah maybe thatβs good but im sharing what i knew its upto you use it or not.
Good for phones with older versions of Android. Iβve used it and is a lot customizable in gradience and schedule.
Now Android got the built-in βNight Lightβ. Still not a reason to downvote your suggestion.
I use it on my Android TV to reduce the brightness further during nighttime. I donβt change the color temperature, though.
@refurbishedrefurbisher i tried but not worked on my tv
Try either installing via adb using the β-gβ argument to grant all permissions, or try granting permissions manually via adb.
@refurbishedrefurbisher connecting to tv?
@Tazerface stopping the melatonin production is that not bad and sleep is essential for humans. So here the health is at risk am i wrong?
