It’s actually extremely rare that they will explain how capitalism works. Usually they’ll give a vague description of something vaguely related like free enterprise and call it capitalism, they don’t tend to see any strong connection between ‘capital’ and ‘capitalism’ as concepts.

what a ridiculous suggestion, cities are for raising taxes and providing subsidies to corporations. the only thing a city need concern itself with is how to fund our war machine, give back to our corporate lords & ladies, and keeping the fucking peasants under a boot
