I had a pimiento I bought from a grocery store; I knew about the βsingle flowerβ thing, but the plant was still going after the flower died and I just couldnβt throw it out. Then someone told me about the pups, and now I have 5 healthy pimientos. None have yet bloomed; I need to do more reading and see it they need some special condition - but I just wanted to pass along the information about the pups!
This is a kind of bromeliad right? Iβve had some outside for several years in south Florida that are still βfloweringβ like that. at least one of them has stalked off a new plant
