Liquid’s departure from a North American majority marks a historic shift, making them one of the most remarkable surprises in an electrifying offseason. We reached out to several experts for their perspectives on the move.

TL;DR:
Moses - Liquid leaving NA sucks, but the players they’re bringing in are good and have promise. Not a top ten team on paper, but mentioned Daps’ track record on scouting talent and putting together teams.

Launders - Felt it was “traitorous” and a “huge mismanagement” of Liquid’s brand. Not very optimistic about the team’s future in the more competitive EU region

Maniac - Worries about Yekindar and Patsi role overlap. Regards Yekindar IGL with suspicion. Would be “surprised to see the team punch above the top eight”

Everyone started their response with what a blow this is to the NA region. Reasonable takes all around, I think.

Zedtronic - Sad to see Liquid go. Still a NAFFER, but Liquid wont be my home team anymore. EG then coL, if we go on nationality. Hoping CS2 saves NA CS.
