That is just the most toothless, disappointing response. I undersand if there’s not more that can be done, but that in and of itself is a goddamn problem.
I believe they are elected so that’s probably why they are only giving him a reprimand. I’m not sure what their specific judiciary laws are for district courts are there but there may be nothing that can be done short of either losing the next election or perhaps the chief judge clearing his docket forever more.
