If farmers are the main barrier to the response because they’re refusing to comply with safety measures and testing then shut off all government payments until they comply. Fine them. The way our government let’s corporations and business bully them it’s embarrassing.
I guess they didn’t kill enough of us old/fat/sick fuckers with Covid, so they’re going to give it another go with fucking bird flu. How the fuck is Fauci not in prison? We are at the convergence of 1984, Brave New World, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Lord of the Flies. These stories were supposed to be warnings, not instruction manuals.
Lawlessness, or more specifically the idea of “might makes right”. They just convicted Trump of 34 counts of fraud. Will he go to jail? Probably not. Our Congresspeople have rewritten the laws to allow themselves to do insider trading to enrich themselves to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. There is a profession in this country called a “lobbyist”, which is just a professional bribery middleman. The Supreme Court (not wanting to be left out of the so called “side hustle” culture), just two days ago, deemed it legal for government officials to accept “gratuities”. I wish this was a fucking joke.
