If you revisit a post, there exists already an indicator that +n new comments have been added.
But it isn’t easy to distinguish which of the comments are actually new ones.
It would be cool to have an (optional) visual indicator at new comments to easier follow the conversation.

I asked about this for Mlem and was told there is something in the api that says there are new posts and how many, but nothing that says which are new.

This could be done locally maybe, cache the ids of the comments and compare them with after viewing a post again.

But yeah it’s a bit hacky…
