Realtalk. Was in a bar talking to a guy who has the ear of the prim minister of Singapore. Topic was of course neolib economic policy. He recommended zero taxes to avoid capital flight, means tested UBI and paying politicians more. ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’ I returned with examples of how the opposite has happened, with no regulations and taxes we see the social stratification and poverty explode, how China must be doing something right with their reduction of poverty not to mention expansion of high speed rail and solar power

I’ll get better at jogging and run in a big loop around the city bus interchange every evening during peak hour. I’d also try to attend more concerts and football games, and just spend the entire time walking around trying to get within 10 metres of everyone.
I think the best part of this superpower would be that if cops try to arrest you, they also become communists, and realise they’re the brute squad for capital and will just let me go while they rethink their life choices.
If cops instantly swapped from cop to communist I see a glorious picture in my mind where they burst into tears, pull out their service weapons, shoot all their nearby fellow cops and once they’re alone they shove the barrel in their own mouth
