We should always strip bonuses from CEOs of companies like DB when they make such a mess of key infrastructure. Richard Lutz got €440,000 after his salary last December. That being said, they don’t need the money in the first place. The railways themselves do, as do the people paying the excessive price of tickets right now.

Nothing will be fixed. They removed some of their construction plans as the money is missing.

Between this comment and the story of that Berlin Brandenburg airport, I am shocked at how common it is for money to go missing in German large scale projects
