For those unaware… excessive heat makes the power lines for the MAX expand, which causes slack on the lines, which means trains can’t go as fast and there are often power outages.
Make sure you give yourself extra time if you travel by MAX in extreme temperatures.
There are other problems with freezing temps too, ice on the wires and malfunctioning switches. So beware then too!

It’s OK to go after Teargas Ted, it’s OK to say Rene Gonzales is a fascist, ACAB, BLM, whatever floats your boat (WEFYB).
It’s NOT OK to attack or diminish another user. Feel free to disagree, you can point out the many ways you think they’re wrong, just don’t start throwing perjoratives AT OTHER USERS.
