You can’t disprove flat earth theory… or can you?
This is pretty dumb
and yet flat earth beliefs linger because no one can refute some of their arguments
They can all be proven to be bollocks, be it based on an incomplete underatanding of the physics behind it. But usually flat earthers don’t want to listen and just keep repeating the same nonsense to each other.

Flat Horizon at High Altitudes:

- Rivers and canals follow the curvature of the Earth, but this curvature is very gentle over short distances. Gravity ensures that water flows downhill, irrespective of Earth’s shape.

No Detected Movement of Earth:
- Experiments like the Michelson-Morley experiment and subsequent tests have demonstrated Earth’s motion. Modern technology, such as GPS and satellite communication, relies on and confirms Earth’s rotation and orbit.

Curvature in Engineering and Construction:
- Engineering projects account for Earth’s curvature over large distances. For instance, long bridges and tunnels are designed with curvature in mind. Surveying techniques and instruments are specifically calibrated to account for this.
Of you ignore inertia and gravity then some of those make very loose sense.
But in the real world we need to consider those things.
we don’t know what gravity is though, just look up “we don’t know what gravity is” on a search engine. this gives them leeway for claiming things

It is incredible how wrong your assumptions can get when you neglect physics in your “arguments”.
English is not my first language, so feel free any other word that may fit.
Won’t make those claims less bullshit though.
Example for claim 3, the one with water. Fully neglects to acknowledge that gravity is pulling everything to the centre of the globe. And not pulling from “below the earth”.
