Gβday all! Time to sit down with my dinner and read back through your day, as I do when Iβve been too busy to Lemmy. I look forward to reading about your adventures!
Couch came mid afternoon, delivery guy obligingly carried it into the lounge (would have been bloody hard for me to get it in on my own.
Zooks was already sitting on it upside down when I was putting the legs on, and purred for a solid hour once it was all put together.
Weβre now happily stretched out while I watch random stuff on YT.
Newcouch Zooks tax? π₯Ί I love it when cats glom onto new items and take prompt ownership of them
sheesh, a long day today. About to go home, but first gotta drop the fact my new short story released
Itβs not the shopping, itβs not the cooking. Itβs thinking what to cook and cleanup that tires me. I know someone that eats the same meal on each night, eg pasta Monday, taco Tuesday etc. Planning is easier sure but I think the boredom would kill me. And the endless life chore of dishes is soul sucking.
Dishes are worse than scrubbing the loo! I despise it. Never ending cycle of ick.
there have been studies!!
Itβs not boring to eat the same food.
It helps reduce stress as there is one less choice to make a day and people learn to enjoy a reduced menu.
Can confirm. I was the subject of a focussed study where I cooked and ate green chicken curry every night for 12 months. I loved it. Still love it. Probably couldnβt do it again though on account of family members Iβve picked up since then saying things like I donβt like it, itβs boring, we had it last night etcβ¦sigh
Whoa, 365 nights of the same meal?? I love green curry chicken, but that sounds horrific! I think Iβd be an exceptionally bad candidate for those studies. I need variety.
Cheers boyz n girlz πΊ
