To reiterate, that was an owl and not a parrot.
Asked to comment on the incident, a spokesperson for parrots says he is glad that no parrots were involved.

Thus proving the case from The Staircase: owl do that shit, it’s scary, could easily make you tumble down stairs to your death and would leave you with lacerations with microfeathers in your scalp. There.
