Courtois is out with an ACL. That’s a big fucking rip.
Man United treated him poorly after making the seventh most appearances for them. It’s not his fault the tactics evolved past him.
@Astrealix love that Ellen White is the only BBC pundit to predict that #Arsenal will win the league: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66434067
@Astrealix @thatdosbox Ellen also predicts Villa will be fourth!
@gunnerfunda @Astrealix yeah, that feels like a stretch, but it would be hilarious if it happens. I’m more surprised nobody put Brighton in fourth.
I genuinely think the best thing in the world would be Harry Kane stays, then leaves on a free when Sp**s come 8th.
Kane’s good as gone. THere goes Spurs lmfao
@Matt_Sams_314 @Astrealix yeah but they’ve already spent a bunch and/or are close to spending a lot (on a few defenders I think); have a feeling that spending happened because they knew they’d sell Kane.
@WorldcupCSR @Matt_Sams_314 @Astrealix What would that mean for them if he said “hell no, I won’t go”?
We still haven’t replaced Steve Round. Wonder if we’re planning on doing so.
I thought I heard that Airpod Albert is now the assistant manager and it was always the plan to phase out Round.
Wasn’t he already assman last season though? Are we just happy with having one less coach then?
Looks like you’re right, he has been listed as the assistant manager for years now. But when Arteta is thinking on the sidelines, it’s always been Albert - I don’t think I’ve ever seen him and Round conferring in the technical area. My theory that it was always the plan to have Round move on is based on that. In addition, I heard rumors (maybe from Arseblog?) that Round was primarily brought in to address the locker room culture, and management may feel that that issue has been addressed now.
