If you can’t even figure out how to get on the dark web, you’re definitely not going to figure out how to take down multi-billion dollar empires (which is a felony, btw). Besides, you’ll find way more disturbing Nazi shit on the dark web than wherever you’re seeing it now.
You’re essentially expecting to be able to build a spaceship without rudimentary knowledge of mechanical engineering, physics, or aerospace science. The people who took those sites down have spent a lifetime learning about programming, networking, software engineering, and cyber security. Your anger would be better channeled into established protest groups, or letters to your representatives (although I’d recommend running your letters through ChatGPT for clarity and grammar).
Anonymous’s nature is thay they do not have a centralised group. Anyone with the skill to bring down a website could identify themselves as anonymous.
Look up on libgen about books about pentesting to get a start on how you can take sites down. It’ll be helpful when looking for exploits to take down sites.

Welll, if you’re fired up enough, there are politically oriented movements like antifa. Trying to play hacker isn’t something you jump into and six months later, you’re taking down servers. But anyone can be an extra body at a protest, and protests can work, particularly when they’re direct action.

What? This I don’t agree with. I do agree that learning to “hack” isn’t a something that happens quickly unless its just playing around with essentially toy scripts. But, no using Tor is pretty safe, browsers already have very good sandboxing (with the exception of some limited things like the recent tiktag exploit on ARM)- and Tor has even more anti-tracking features than a standard browser. That’s on top of using onion routing. But, even if your IP does somehow get leaked it doesn’t really matter unless you annoy someone enough that they DDOS you(unlikely)- but given you probably have a dynamic IP you can just reset your router/change the mac address, or request a new IP from your ISP.

Hacking is not something you learn in an evening. Even back in the day of script kiddies, which has long since been a distant memory, it took a serious investment to learn. Companies spend billions on security, and it’s a felony to try to breach it. Even failed attempts can land you in prison. Find some local protest groups and team up with them for more meaningful action.

It’s the childlike misunderstanding of hacking and the right wing. Your IWTL may as well have been something like “I’m really fired up about all the misogyny in the world! I want to learn nunchucks so I can stop all the misogyny! If I can learn a nunchuck trick or two I can get rid of all the misogyny.” Hacking isn’t like the movies. In real life, hacking consists of a thousand separate computer related skills and a few dozen liberally applied social skills. “Anonymous” isn’t a super hacker, it’s literally anonymity that random hackers have hidden behind in the past. It’s not an organization you can join. It’s just randos, like the rest of the Internet.
At your level, trying to learn to ““hack”” is like a couch potato deciding he wants to get into the Olympics. Even if you were the world’s best hacker, there’s not much that you could do to stop Nazis from Nazi-ing. Keep reading wikis, but don’t expect this line of inquiry to bear fruit fast or to pay off in the ways you seem to expect.
