As we all know, Yuzu is no longer available so I’m using Ryujinx via Retrodeck. I found the archived mods on this page but fps still drops down to 30 and below. I made sure to place the mod (on its own folder) under

/home/deck/.var/app/net.retrodeck.retrodeck/config/Ryujinx/mods/contents/01006bb00c6f0000/

I also downloaded the anti-blur mod and it is working ok. Let me know if I missed some steps here.

It doesn’t run well on the steam deck, but I generally am able to get 40-50 fps. I capped GPU clock to 1200 MHz, and that seems to help a bit

You can still use Yuzu. But I would only recommend doing so if you have the original binaries before closure. I played Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom on Yuzu with 60 fps this year.

As for the 60 fps mod on Links Awakening, make sure to use the required version of the game that the mod is built for (here v1.0.0 of Zelda). Also there is a chance that the mod may not work in Ryujinx, not sure if they are all compatible. And some mods may collide with another, but usually this is noted. And lastly Ryujinx requires a stronger computer to reach 60 fps. I couldn’t run Tears of the Kingdom with 60 on Ryujinx, but its really good on Yuzu (on my PC btw). So the Steam Deck might be not strong enough, I didn’t test it myself.

I found an alternative patch, try it out but at your own risk: https://pixeldrain.com/u/aT5qX5YK from https://www.reddit.com/r/128bitbay/comments/178o2aj/links_awakening_60fps_101/

thanks, yeah at the end i just installed yuzu app image. found a copy in web archive and installed it as a non-steam game in SD. compared to ryujinx, LA runs perfectly fine in yuzu and most of the time in 60fps.

I’d recommend Suyu instead of Yuzu, it’s based on the latest early-access build before Yuzu was shut down
