I’m going camping in a bit and have to make dinner for 8 hungry adults one night, but I only have a single propane burner (I don’t want to get another one for just this one event, since im broke af)

They also don’t allow campfires this time of year. I do have a huge cooler though, so that isn’t an issue.

Any ideas for meals?

I’d go for premade stew but I always go for stew when camping so I can feel like I’m in Red Dead 2

As others have said, make a batch of chilli, stew or gumbo ahead of time and then just heat it up.

I’ve also had luck with bringing precooked rice and then steaming it over a pot of boiling water to reheat.

Happy camping

If money is no object just get freeze dried backpacking food. Shit is actually very very good and very easy to make. It’s expensive as fuck though.
