I moved to mastodon a while back and it’s fine. Same with leaving the shit tornado that is Reddit for Lemmy, never looked back
The libs are something else though. Say what you will, but at least the chuds find more creative ways of being annoying. Mastolibs make me want to put my head through drywall.
