Is there a way from Steam on my desktop to queue games for install on my Deck the next time I power it on? Something like what Google does with the web version of the play store.

I’m guessing not, at least out of the box, from what I’ve found searching. But I didn’t know if there was a mod/addon/etc… out there that could make it work. (i.e. add games to a collection called “Installed On Deck” and the deck automatically adds them.)

I would be happy enough if the thing would download stuff when the screen is turned off…

my workaround is to put it in the official dock, but let the tv turned off or change the channel. this results in the deck internal screen turned off

If the deck is on and connected to the internet, you can choose remote download from the mobile app to start downloading right away. Otherwise though I don’t know of an option for what you want. I’d probably just make a category for games you want to install and install them from that list the next time you have the deck on hand.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing. I was hoping for a more automated solution that already exists.
