Not pure thrash, but a universe in itself.
Their first album When The Kite String Pops, is mandatory listening for every extreme music fan!
From thrash to sludge to acoustic to groove, it’s beyond styles.
Insanity as a musical style. One of the sickest albums out there. I simply call it swamp metal as it radiates damp, rotting, stinking heat.
Vocalist Dax Riggs is out of this world with his vocal range, I’m actually amazed he didn’t just die from spitting his guts out!

Note on the video: it’s an album track with some live footage patched to it. It doesn’t fit exactly, so it feels a bit amateuristic. But it does convey the immense energy of Dax and the band!

Acid Bath is one of those bands I really loved when I was younger. They had a good style and could play various types of songs.

Place to post and discuss THRASH METAL!

RULES (MUST READ):

  • Please keep things relevant to thrash (death thrash, blackened thrash, crossover, speed metal etc. are permitted).
  • Please search before posting a song, do not post the same song over and over.
  • Friendly debate is encouraged.
  • When posting a song use the format of “Band - Song [FFO: band1, band2]”. This just helps keep things uniform. The “FFO” (For Fans Of) section is optional. It is for lesser known bands. (Stole this idea from the Death Metal community).
  • No racist, sexist, blah blah blah… you get the idea. This is not the place to discuss sensitive matters, after all metal should unite!
  • No NSFW content (apart from songs/album covers. If they do include NSFW content, please mark the posts as such).
  • Post in English only (obviously you can post songs in different languages).
  • But most of all have fun XD.
