Hi, I have created a new community and tried posting to it, however on the home page for the community it doesn’t show any posts.

Is there some kind of manual approval for new communities before new posts will show?

I see the posts in your community. Maybe it was being a little slow?

I got tricked by this when I started on lemmy: You probably have “show read” unchecked in your user settings. Unfortunately, this setting applies for your own posts, so as soon as you view it, it disappears from the feed for you, even when browsing the community.

Think /r/AskLemmy but way more NSFW.

Treat this community like a cross between /c/AskLemmy, /c/Sex, and /c/Fetishes.

  • All posts must be in the form of a question and be largely NSFW.

  • Only text posts are allowed. Links can be posted if they are very relevant.
