To make sure that this instance can stay online sustainably, I’d highly recommend rules shift so that material is hosted on a third party site (e.g., redgifs).

Otherwise, storage and bandwidth costs for admin are going to quickly become unaffordable with growth. Likewise, that reduces the liability of hosting illegal material as more established services already have systems in place to detect and remove.

Glad this exists, want to ensure it stays available for the long haul.

I’m wondering if using JPG.pet for images might be best. I think giving users a recommended place to upload is a good idea. I wonder if there’s a way to integrate their plug-in into lemmynsfw.
