Hello. What’s the story behind this community? Where do you all come from?

This community is a casual community for the instance Monyet.cc, where we can hangout and talk about nonsense. This instance is hosted by and for Malaysian, and as a side project for r/Malaysia from Reddit. This place were created by @dcx@monyet.cc at the time of Reddit blackout, so some of us see this as second home since then.
I’ll do proper notice on the movies comm but apparently this local movie tak dapat chance to really build word of mouth (which has been good amongst ppl I know who managed to catch it) - just came out on the 10th and tomorrow is already the last day. 🙄

They think no one will show up to watch on the Chinese 7th lunar month (starts 16 Aug).
I know Atomic Heart isn’t well received, but dang, this song is awesome.
