Fetching, shapely and curly-haired blonde beauty Katherine Hushaw was born on October 23, 1963 in Anaheim, California. Katherine was already established as a model (her backside was featured in the first California Cooler ads), radio voice-over artist, and TV commercial actress prior to becoming the Playmate of the Month in the October, 1986 issue of “Playboy.” Moreover, Hushaw is a licensed helicopter pilot and has studied Japanese art and archeology, shou-shu, and shiatsu massage (at shiatsu school she earned the nickname Sachiko, which means “happy child” in Japanese). In addition, Katherine collects Japanese miniatures called netsuke.
