‘There’s no way to legitimately register voters online’, says one of the few states that doesn’t do it. Sounds like a convenient way to discourage voters.

Meanwhile astronauts can vote and request their ballot digitally from space for Texas elections. Granted is a more controlled connection, but still registering to vote will still be compared against licenses & other identification data
You can register online through the DMV when you renew your license
