I mean, it makes sense.
I am disliking the DJ more often than not. And he plays random spanish dance pop music from 4+ years ago when my account got hacked for a month or so! AAAAAH!!
You can’t believe the shock horrer when I saw the infimous album cover rear it’s head after not seeing it for 3+ years.
I had to literally just skip those recomendations for a year and a half + at least. And now, back, out of the blue D:
Something, likely a playlist, must be associating it with Spotify to set itself as something you’re interested in. If you have a playlist that may be hanging around or a track in your history, you can toggle the ‘Exclude from your taste profile’ to hopefully hide it for good!
I’m working on a program using the spotify api so I may make a way to find what in your taste profile is causing the anomaly.
You can remove that history in the settings so its not taken into account when creating a radio.
I have looked on settings on Android in browser and on PC application and I see no History information at present, today. Also those years back via email with spotify, they said that there is no method of deleting history, and that they could not delete any history, even with written request. They could only dlete everything from my account or nothing.
Which was very unhelpful, naturally. And I didn’t accept that initially and went around the houses a bit with them, until I gave up.
But if theres some method or hack I AM DOWN TO TRY IT!
Somehow, spotify knows that my gf only really wants to listen to like 3 songs. It will even repeat them a lot.
Today I learned spotify has an AI DJ…
Jokes on them my taste in music is bad
