Good morning people, is Windows 11 good now? I am still reluctant to upgrade from my trusty 10.

10 probably gonna be my last windows as it was originally intended. after support ends maybe i’ll just jump into the linux ecosystem.

Well, until today there are still people who complain or dislike it. There are some tweaks you can do to make windows11 better from what I heard. Personally speaking, I don’t really want to upgrade to 11 either.

what do people complain about tho… i think when Vista came out there are people out there that die die want to be on XP.

And it seems people are even more reluctant to switch to Windows 11 lol. I’m an NPC non-power user, for me it feels like a great skin with modern UI design and it feels more intuitive to use.

Personally I’m holding out trying W11 as much as I can, either until my work laptop/PC gets refreshed, or I buy a new laptop/PC. W10 is supported up to October 2025, so there’s still time.

just bought a pair of Ultraboost 1.0, but i think i’m going to return it. I only bought it because i thought it looked sleek and it actually fits unlike the NMD.

some people swear how comfortable Ultraboost 1.0 are. i think they have obviously never owned a pair New Balance. The issue is there’s little padding, and the base is also too thin, flexes way too much and it lacks stability. It’s also terrible for driving and I can’t do heel-toe properly.

Before Ultraboost, I get frequent arch foot pain. After getting my first pair, I can walk way longer distances without getting the pain now. Although, may consider New Balance as my next pair because I have no brand loyalty and willing to try new things.

I have a pair of 327, it’s by far the most comfortable sneaker i ever had. doesn’t look like it but once your foot is in it just makes sense. Recently got a pair of 580, it’s less comfortable initially but after breaking in it’s pretty good as well loads of padding.

Damn. I think I pass the exam.

Just got word that 42 people fail this one exam. That’s half my class. And they’ll send an email to people that have to resit.

Haven’t gotten any email so far. Mann still couldn’t believe I pass. Don’t know what to feel. I must be that smart. Or the students here are fkin dumb

PAS protests and complains the Pesta Songkran to be held at a resort in Ipoh, citing it a religious insensitive issues. PAS and the organizer compromised and renamed the event [1] to, wait for it:

.

(P)esta (A)ir (S)ungai

So much for PAS won’t trample on the rights of non-Muslims.

Anyway, you got a source for that?

Tbf, the Non-Muslims are in a tough position. Put up too much of a fuss, we’re branded kafir la, pendatang la, tak hormat la. We can only fight back when the moderate Malays push back together with us.

speaking from Chinese perspective - it’s not an issue for them because they most likely have benefited from the system. Most, if not all successful businessmen in my Chinese town were actually pro BN. BN had good business policies that essentially wiped out all the competition in many industries so long as you are willing to work with Malay stakeholders.

also cash is king, with money they can buy the best experience possible to distract them from reality. they can afford to fly first class to Paris to eat Kuah Sone and Bak Kut Teh when they experience minor inconveniences lol. what does oppression of non-muslim rights even mean to them lol, and why should they give a damn about the plight of commoners.

in many ways it’s probably like medieval kingdoms and their subjects, you have nobles living behind walls but their subjects don’t even have bread to eat and having it tough out there.

On the other hand, the resort acknowledged that it was indeed their fault to use the term “Songkran” which may have caused confusion, and further explained that despite the name, the River Festival will not be like how the Siamese celebrate Songkran.

If it’s not meant to be celebrated like Songkran, do you think the change in name is wise?

You thought it’s Radical Conservative PAS but it’s me, Political Correct PAS!

  1. Really, i think 2 is all i can take, but i feels like it’s more of the carb telling me i’m full and then induce all these effect, instead of really full.
