I like that this article shows not just the good and not just the bad, but both sides of the story. All too often we see articles saying “caffeine is bad!” and then “No, caffeine is good!”

I don’t think the article mentions it, but one of my favorite weird facts is that a greater consumption of caffeinated beverages has been proven to reduce your risk of Parkinson’s Disease.

That’s interesting, I thought it would’ve been the other way around, given that caffeine can make you jittery. Parkinson’s is associated with a loss of dopamine producing cells, so maybe caffeine helps to stimulate those cells in some way.
