Curious about everyone’s thoughts on 118. At first glance it seemed like a great idea but after seeing what it would do to the general fund I thought it wasn’t great at all. What do you think?
I thought it was an awful idea. Basically they want an equivalent to Alaska’s oil dividend, but we don’t have a natural resource like that so the plan is to just soak big companies?
It’s a Robin Hood measure. I get it, big companies should be taxed fairly, but the goal should be to reduce taxes for everyone else, not just kick back money for no reason.
