I was looking at getting some roguelikes / lites (already have ToME, CoQ), unfortunately Cataclysm DDA is not on sale.

Krone Hotel at 90% off looks like a decent choice too. Then there’s Jupiter Hell, which I recently stumbled upon and looks great too.

I’d also like to get some of the FF games, though I’ve played VI, VII, IX and a bit of XII, it would be nice to revisit some of the older ones I haven’t played almost since the PSX era.

Is BF2042 worth buying for ~$15?

Isn’t that one still considered a massive flop? I remember everyone hating it

Unfortunately, every new Battlefield game is shit on release day. The question is: is it still shit?

It is still shit, and every battlefield game is full of unchecked wall / ESP hackers, with the occasional aimbot for additional spice.

I think it is. I wasn’t super happy with it when it was launched although I thought it was fun. it definitely got a lot better now. I’d say it’s worth it for sure, but BattleBit seems to be the new hype for Battlefield players.

Buy BattleBit Remastered instead it’s the same price but looks like loads more fun.

I think it’s a lot of fun. Maps are have been reworked and are good. Typical battlefield at this point. Lots of weapons, gadgets, etc.

Didn’t get it on Steam but it is deck compatible (and on steam), The Outer Worlds. Nice no nonsense Fallout Stylus RPG, without the Bethesda jank

The remastered version or the original? Might wanna refund if it’s the former. Humble Choice (at July 4th) will contain at least the remastered version (the Space’s Choice edition).

My bad, didn’t read the part you didn’t get it from Steam but some other place. Then I understand wanting to stick with the DRM-free version for sure. Have fun with it!

I very much enjoyed this game. I don’t think it has a ton of replay value tho. It’s a bit too on-the-rails.
