Has he been linked there before? I know there’s been a lot of smoke with the Heat the past couple of seasons.

they just seem like a good fit out of desperation if harden leaves.

There were rumors that back when Morey was trying to trade Ben Simmons, Embiid was pushing for a Beal trade rather than Harden.

The Heat FO has been enamored with Beal for as long as I can remember. I can definitely see them trying to make something happen so he ends up there.

I think Dame would be no. 1 on the wishlist but I don’t see Portland trading him unless they get a ridiculous offer. TBH I don’t know if Beal for Herro is that good of a swap considering Beal is about to be on the wrong side of 30 and cost $100M more.

I think they try to do Lowry and Oladipo’s contract with all the picks they can scrape together for Beal. They add Martin if they have to.

They go sign and trade with Herro and Dipo + all the picks for Dame.

They aren’t going to get a great return for him. Partially because he’s older, partially thanks to the no trade clause. Can’t believe Bradley Beal of all people got a full NTC. C’est la vie!

agreed, just happy they’re finally rebuilding. I’d be happy with just one good young player or a late FRP.

They had to unload him before that contract. Nothing is untradeable but man…

Only a couple years too late but now is still better than later.

Who wants that contract though, especially for a small shooting guard without elite handles? The new CBA makes his contract close to worst in the league.

someone who also has a bad contract they can swap. bad contracts get traded all the time.
