I’m looking something the can download mp3 from Spotify. All the direct download sites in the mega thread don’t have what I’m looking for. All the web app just scrap youtube and keep getting wrong songs or covers. And I’m to stupid to get any of the pc apps to work with out a step by step guide.
I’m using this https://github.com/glomatico/spotify-aac-downloader downloaded my whole 3000 library
It’s not Spotify but deemix has been the best thing I’ve used in a long time.
Seconding this, it’s not being developed anymore but you can still get the program off archive.org
I didn’t know it wasn’t being developed anymore. Thanks for that info. I’ve been running it in docker on my home server for a long while and it still shows up that it has updates every once in a while. Suppose I should do more due diligence into it so I’m not screwing myself somehow.
For music I use soulseek through nicotine+. After installing the latter it was all pretty straightforward.
