The first Digimon game I remember playing was Digimon World 4, and the second one was Digimon World: Data Squad. I remember playing as Dorumon in the former game, and not getting that far in the latter game, though I saw my brother get way further into the game than me.
Digimon world foe the ps1. Never really understood how to actually play it as intended as a kid but I would use a hameshark to cheat in the digivolution items and just play around with the different mons
Digimon World 1 on PS1. I still have the game guide and remember slowly figuring out how the evolution mechanic worked, by trial and error. Still love that game. Now there’s an evolution guide online that’ll help you get any mon you want.
FWIW, you can trust any information for that game posted by SydMontague. He knows that game (and most, if not all digimon games) inside and out.

I have a very distinct memory of the original Digimon World being rented for me as a kid. I couldn’t figure it out but my dad played it all night.
Digimon Rumble Arena. Still a very fun game imo
What was your experience with the game? I haven’t played it yet, I’ve only watched YouTube videos of it.
It’s much alike Smash Bros, except that instead of taking players out of the ring you just pummel them until they run out of health. Falling off cliffs does take some health out of you though. Also, platforms mean you can just hit and run away from the other players. Plus, there are constant item drops that can increase your stats temporarily. The game is not balanced at all but it’s sure fun!
