Although, I thought I was on the right track to progress the game, I ended it accidently. So I’m wondering if I missed some que at some point, or made the wrong decision. I honestly don’t know. I mean, I don’t think I made it through Act II. So, without spoiling anything, I’d just like to warn my fellow players, that everyone saying there are thousands of possible endings, might indeed be true.
So, think hard about choices made. The ending I received was very… anti-climatic. I didn’t want to reload and backtrack, or make different choices. So I started anew. Pay attention to your companions, even if they’re obnoxious, and overly horny.
I think this is the most RPG game in the history of RPGs…
FWIW, you’re correct; you haven’t finished Act 2, and you actually got the bad ending.
Honestly such a great game, I really appreciate that a deus ex machina like that is an option and will just end the game; it fits in quite nicely with how D&D itself works
It is a phenomenal game. And basically, I guess, making a decision, that I thought sounded heroic, ended it. Whether it is good or bad, the game ends. Don’t think I’ve played a game like that before. Not a “Game Over, you suck!” Ending, but a “You killed everyone and everything, so thanks for playing! Bye…” Credits Roll
Haha, did you get the Gale speedrun ending?
Reading your title made me lose The Game… :'(

I would argue, granted I don’t expect many people to remember the game. Ultima Online was a very heavily inspired DnD game (at least originally). You could be anything really, including being a murder chicken. Or a dragon tamer. Or a bard that walks into a dungeon and gets everything to fight each other instead of you. BG3 really gives me a lot of nostalgic memories of playing UO.
I lost the game
