Sure, the question of should you still be using Reddit after their horrible treatment of 3rd party devs is up to you, just wanted to let people know this was an option.

After I tried it, seems to work perfectly. The only thing I noticed is that imgur links won’t work anymore, probably because the api keys RIF was using to pull from imgur are not valid after the OAuth client patch. Small price to pay to be able to keep using RIF though.

This is not worth the effort. If it could be patched to work here that would be awesome, but spezzit? Gross.

As far as effort goes for this, took me less than 5 mins to do. I’m onboard with moving away from reddit after all the shady stuff spez has pulled though.

Apparently this only works with Android 11+ because of a permissions issue or something, and my devices are too old. Most or all of the apps have been open sourced on github, why don’t they just patch the code and repackage the APKs?
