First post! I’m using the memmy beta and really impressed so far how easy it is to use - really like the UI as well but one feature I really liked on Apollo was being able to swipe right over the bottom of tabs to go back rather than having to reach for the back button at the top of the screen. Would be a great quality of life feature for me don’t know how others feel?

Haha yeah the reason I got Apollo in the first place was being sick of the shit clunkiness of the native app let alone ads every 5 posts - so when I got Apollo I was amazed at how customisable it was and sat there for like a good while configuring it to be perfect for me and that’s how I stumbled on that setting!

Really good quality of life feature so would love to have that functionality here as well

Hi there o/ Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the app! (especially the UI :P)

This is definitely something that has been considered and will likely be implemented soon. We didn’t actually know about it until a few users told us about it on our Discord server.

Also quick note, you don’t need to tap the top, you can just swipe from the far left side at any point.

Give us a shout if you have any other suggestions or concerns surrounding the app. We may not reply to all of them, but we definitely read them.

Wow, this is the first I’m hearing about wiping the bottom in Apollo (after years of using it), and the first in hearing about swiping left from the top in Memmy.

Great little feature!

Please also consider full screen swipe, it’s generally more accessible on bigger phones. Swiping the bottom row requires thumb gymnastics as well. It’s easy to test.

Normally the thumb rests towards the middle of the screen.
