May I introduce my “juriform36” https://github.com/jurica/juriform36. Completley self designed “dactyl manuform like” and ZMK powered. I couldn’t be happier how it turned out, especially for my first “from scratch build” ever.

Looks really nice. I like how compact it is. How are your wrists? Also, how the thumb cluster feels? Where did you buy all the parts?

My hands and wrists are in a very neutral position when placed on the keyboard, I like the design very much. The thumb cluster feels close to perfect I’d say.

Please check the linked github repo, I just added a full BOM with links to all webshops where I ordered the parts 😉 .

Thanks! It’s the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Excellent build! The row curvature of regular Dactyls has never made any sense to me. Problem solved with horizontal choc spacing instead. A much better option! :-)

Thanks! And yes that where exactly my thoughts during the design phase 😉 .

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn’t exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid
