You can click on the little link icon but that’s less intuitive imo

Was about to suggest this. Having to tap the thread then scroll down to the reply seems dumb, should be able to just tap the reply and it takes you right there

Strongly agree. I never feel the need to collapse a comment, and every time I do it is by mistake.
