This link goes to Reddit, however, we have used a direct video link to avoid giving them ad revenue.
Is there no sound on these?
This is the only sub-lemmy I’ve seen where video plays in feed on any apps… where is this video being hosted?
Which app are you using? Did not know it works in the app, good to know! /u/L4s is a bot that xposts content to try and jump-start communities and bring more content to Lemmy.
The videos are hosted on Reddit’s server, but visiting them does not give them ad revenue as they are direct links (no ads display that way).
WefWef (the apollo clone) … when scrolling this sub (and only this sub that Ive seen so far) all the videos auto play, pretty awesome and why I was surprised. Neither Memmy, liftoff, thunder, nor just a PWA of lemmy.world play automatically. I have to click on the link to open up the video on those platforms.
I’d be curious if the most recent video posted to publicfreakout does auto-play, can you let me know? “Woman loses it and gets arrested at apartment swimming pool” is the title, that one should have sound too. Fingers crossed!
Using their resources to jump start our communities. Excellent.
Some people dislike the idea of borrowing posts to grow communities but clearly it’s working. Keep it up.
@L3s@lemmy.world is your bot double posting? Saw this one posted earlier
Sorry, was having issues earlier and it did end up double posting. Nobody had a way to xpost videos, so I was fumbling with trying to get it working reliably. Should be good now, sorry if it was annoying!
No I think it is cool what you’re doing - it especially makes sense for this type of sub. Been wanting to get my public freakout fix here and you’re filling the void! Cheers.
I understand that this did nothing to help her case and most likely made things worse for her in the long run in addition to only causing mild annoyance to the airline at that terminal … But man that must’ve felt good lol
To be fair, some airlines are sleezy as hell and rip people off all the time. However, this isn’t going to play out how she thinks/wants.
