I get why this happened (avoiding the second apron and the implications that has on team building) but fuck man, we just wiped out a lot of culture in the locker room.
It is slightly concerning. On the bright side, with Smart gone, it’s now officially Tatum and Brown’s team (assuming they offer Brown the supermax). Smart felt like the captain since he was the longest tenured Celtic. Now Tatum and Brown need to fully assume their leadership roles next season.
