Any plans for integrating Piped videos, just like YouTube videos are already?
Seems like thereβs quite the movement for switching to Piped, but unfortunately the player can be a bit slow in the integrated browser, so if would be sweet to have a more stable solution

Probably not a great time to invest a bunch of work and piped until we see if YouTube manages to lock them out.

What about using a video player based upon it like !libretube@feddit.rocks?
Leave all the legwork to a dedicated app and have the OS open YouTube links into it.
Extra points if it shows a video player in piped bot comments π³
