well, that and it’s fucking rigged, I can’t even bother to give a shit anymore because whoever you root for will be fucked over to reify some storyline and/or for gambling interests. I’m interested in the sport, not some sports-themed entertainment theater.

for real, app gambling has truly ruined shit even more and makes it harder to trust refs/umpires even more

with the new baseball clock rules, NFL now takes about 30 mins longer to complete a game.

Ah man, I remember going to Braves games in the 80s and the stadium being half as full as that one. Nostalgia!

Not a fan of watching sports (rather being playing them, truthfully), but my impression from when I have watched is it’s just close ups of dudes chewing gum with their mouths open.
