Not my pic. Found on a random organization blog with no source.
That’s cute. I like the look. But one of the major benefits of a shoe shelf is you can take the shoes on and off and place them on the shelf with just your feet. I’d have a really hard time putting my shoes on a shoe hook with my foot only
I agree. I have a pretty big shelf for mine. I just saw this and it seemed like a good idea if you don’t have many shoes. Plus it gives you a little more floor room.
[Hobbit confusion intensifies.]
Imagine hitting your ankle to one of the hooks
Doesn’t seem like it would be an issue. You wouldn’t be walking right along the wall close enough to hit them. Plus if it’s in a corner like in the pic, even less chance. Not my pic, so I wouldn’t know in person.
You must be really and I mean really tall to have ankles 12-16 inches off the floor.
I’m told this after I start building a shoe rack… damn it!
Landlord: No
When you’re going to move, you can simply unscrew the rack and spackle over the screw holes in about 10 minutes. Home goods stores usually sell kits like these:

I recommend watching a quick 10 minute YouTube video on the procedure just to get acquainted with the process, but it’s relatively simple.
