Genuinely sucks, even if he had lost every sprint stage at least he’d have gotten to go out on his terms

My heart sank when he grabbed his shoulder….

Oh no…. he is in the ambulance with his arm in a sling 😒

Abandon Cavendish….

This is going to make yesterday’s loss hurt so much more. He was so close

I’m hoping for a hard stage with a classic MvdP vs WvA battle. Hopefully Pidcock will be feeling good as well and can match them.

Has the potential for some classic like action. But we will see how good WvA legs are after tourmale and before tomorrows stage where he probably also is needed. But maybe someone starts an attack on the last “climb” if it is steep enough.

They are both riding in service of their team so I’m afraid that won’t happen. But man, it would be good to have those two battle it out again 😊

Great team effort from Lidl Trek, Pedersen looked very powerful in the sprint. Wonder if van Aert would have beaten him if he didn’t get boxed in.

So sad to see Cav out of the mix. I really thought that after second place yesterday he would have gotten the win at some point at the next couple weeks.

Tadej really leaning into the “pogi is a sprinter now” meme
